Biographical Summary:
A commercial traveler who enlisted in the AIF on 15 May 1915 as a reinforcement for the 1st Australian Light Horse Regiment. He departed for Egypt on 27 May 1915 and arrived on 30 June 1915. On 1 July 1915, he was admitted to hospital and subsequently declared to be medically unfit, suffering from rheumatism and myocarditis. He arrived in Australia on 1 October 1915 and was discharged from the AIF on 6 January 1916. [JSB]
