Biographical Summary:
A clerk who joined the AIF in March 1915 and departed for overseas service in June 1915. He served with the 2nd Division Trench Mortar Brigade from April 1916 and the Australian Corps Heavy Trench Mortar Battery from February 1918, with short periods towards the end of 1917 with the 2nd Divisional Ammunition Column and the 5th Field Artillery Brigade.
He embarked to return to Australia on 23 March 1919 and arrived on 23 May. He was discharged from the AIF in July 1919.
He is the stepson of Henry Percy Baker. [JSB]
