Enlisting in September, 1915, and sailing in March, 1916, joined battn. in France and served at Fleurbaix, Somme, Hindenburg Line and Bullecourt, where wounded in May, 1917.
Died of Wounds, Wimereux, 29th May, 1917, and was buried in Wimereux Communal Cemetery.
Early education at Cleveland St. Intermediate and Sydney High Schools.
