From the Sydney Morning Herald, Friday 24 September 1915 –
TROOPER ANTHONESS.
News has been received by Mrs. M. E. Anthoness, of Mosman, that her only son, Trooper K. G. Anthoness, of the 12th Light Horse, is suffering from a bomb wound in one of his legs, and was admitted to No. 1 Australian General Hospital, Heliopolis, on September 9.
