Biographical Summary:
Teacher at Alma Public School, near Broken Hill, prior to enlisting in South Australia with the AIF. He met his future wife, Lucille Mary McBride, while in Broken Hill. They married in July 1918 at Goodwood, South Australia prior to his departure for service overseas. [JSB]
