Biographical Summary:
A labourer who enlisted in the AIF on 13 October 1916. He embarked for England on 5 November 1916 and arrived on 9 January 1917.
He joined the 57th Battalion on 25 March 1917 when it was near Beaumetz, France. He was wounded (skull, chest, abdomen, leg) in action at Anzac Ridge near Zonnebeke, Belgium on 15 October 1917. He died the next day at the 17th Casualty Clearing Station located near Poperinge, Belgium.
