Probably Alan Graham Copeland, son of Arthur Graham Copeland, President of the Warringah Bowling Club.  An A G Copeland was attending the State Aviation School, Richmond in September 1918. The school was a stepping stone to joining the Australian Flying Corps and Royal Flying Corps (see Trove article below).
