Biographical Summary:

Son of Robert Patrick Dargan and Mary Dargan, 36 Ourimbah Rd, Mosman.

Brother died of wounds received at Gallipoli.

According to Bert Dargan's niece, Nancy Wintle, Bert was made the manager of the new branch of the Rural Bank at Spit Junction when it was established. He had previously had experience with the Bank at Bega and Tamworth and because he knew so many people in Mosman they made him manager of the new branch.
