Biographical Summary:
Enlisted in the AIF in October 1915. He served with the 20th Battalion and was wounded in action (gun shot wound to right arm, ulnar nerve severed, and to right shoulder) at Bullecourt on 3 May 1917. He returned to Australia in February 1918 and was discharged in August 1918. He died at Callan Park Mental Hospital on 19 August 1923 with his death attributed to his war service. [JSB]
