Biographical Summary:
Enlisted aged 17 years in October 1917 with his parents permission by understating his age by two years.
He served with the 1st Australian Light Horse Regiment. He joined his unit in May 1918 but for most of his time in Egypt he was hospitalised with malaria. [JSB]
