2. Ronald Appleton Grieve (1904 Glebe – ?) married 1937 at Gosford to Malvy Catherine Reed (c. 1909 – 4/1/2009 late of Bateau Bay, formerly of Kempsey and Gosford).

Gordon Morey Grieve No 29280 joined on 6/3/1916 when he was 18 years and 4 months, orders clerk, next of kin father Frederick William Grieve 13 Myahgah Rd Mosman (elsewhere he states his father was absent from State). His brother Fred/Jack No 25545 gave his next of kin as their mother Alice Maude Grieve of "Urana" 13 Myahgah Rd Mosman.

His grandfather Thomas Grieve (c1836 Scotland – 21/10/1916 had 14 children by 2 wives. One of his cousins Keith Harvey Grieve (1892 – 19/9/1958) was a doctor in WW1 who won a Military Cross and an uncle, Charles Berry Grieve (1889 Wollongong – 23/9/1974 late of Wentworthville) was a Lieutenant and then a Captain in WW1 and another uncle, William Grieve was a Lieutenant in WW1.
