Biographical Summary:
While serving with the 6th Light Horse Regiment he was injured by a horse in August 1916. He returned to Australia and was discharged 30 October 1916.
He re-enlisted on 23 January 1917 and returned to his unit in July 1917. He was wounded in action and taken prisoner of war on 28 March 1918 during a dismounted attack on Amman (in now Jordan).
He died on 9 June 1942 at Newcastle, NSW, while serving with the 8th Garrison Battalion. [JSB]
