Biographical Summary:
Alfred Herbert Austin, M.A.: Chaplain (Class 1), A.I.F., England.
Enlisting and sailing in October, 1916, after resigning pastorate at Mosman, served as chaplain to Other Protestant Denominations till he became ill while in camp at Salisbury Plain, returning in May, 1917.
Early education at State School in South Australia. Later at Camden College, after a banking career.
