Biographical Summary:
Wounded in action (gunshot wound to his head) on 4 November 1917 while serving in Belgium. He died from meningitis on 24 December 1917 at the 1st Eastern General Hospital, Cambridge, England. His mother, who lived at Watford, England, was at his bedside when he died. He is buried at Watford Cemetery, England. [JSB]
