William Henry Burlace

Biographical Summary:
Served at Gallipoli.
Wounded in action in November 1917 during the pursuit of Turkish forces following the fall of Gaza.
Killed in action at Amman, Jordan on 28 March 1918. Six months later his body was recovered and buried where he was killed. He was later re-buried at Damascus (Syria) Commonwealth War Cemetery. [JSB]
