Biographical Summary:
Son of Vincent and Lillian Jane Fazio, of Tuncurry, New South Wales.
Brother, Victor Fazio, Petty Officer R.A.N., was awarded a DSM in WW2 when serving in HMAS Kalgoorlie, a corvette. Source: George Franki.
Tpr Fazio of 7th Australian Light Horse Regiment, of Mosman, NSW. Tpr Fazio enlisted on 28 May 1917 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Commonwealth on 2 November 1917. He was killed in action on 7 May 1918 in Palestine aged 19 years.
