Biographical Summary:
Diploma in Economics and Commerce : Private, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France.
Enlisting 11th January, 1916, and sailing with A.A.M.C. reinforcements, joined 15th Australian Field Ambulance 26th February, 1917, and served at Bullecourt, Polygon Wood, Somme and Villers- Bretonneux, being wounded 7th May, 1918, and again on 28th.
Died of Wounds, Villers-Bretonneux, 28th May, 1918.
Early education at Mosman Superior Public School.

GAS POISONING.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Doyle, of Gouldsbury street, Mosman, have received news that their eldest son, Private W. S. H. Doyle (Sam) who was gassed, has died. He was for the past 20 years connected with the Water and Sewerage Board, and was district officer for Manly and surrounding district at time of enlisting.
