Biographical Summary:
A station overseer who enlisted in the AIF on 19 June 1916. He embarked for England on 10 May and arrived on 20 July 1917.
He joined the 34th Battalion in France on 21 November 1917. He was killed in action on 30 March 1918 when the battalion was counter-attacking German lines at Hangard Wood about 4km south of Villers-Bretonneux. [JSB]
