Ship's purser who died at sea on 23 June 1915. It is most likely that he was on board SS Morinda on which he was serving in January 1915. The ship, which had a Commonwealth mail contract, had left Sydney on 9 June 1915 for ports in then Papua and New Guinea, including Rabaul where the Australian Naval and Military Expeditionary Force was based.
