Born: 1 January 1895

Died: 27 October 1975

Wounded in action on 25 September 1918 during the attack on Amman (in what is now Jordan) by the Australian and New Zealand Mounted Division.  He was the only member of the 2nd Australian Light Horse Brigade Machine Gun Squadron to be wounded on that day.  Although wounded, he remained on duty.  [JSB]
