Born: 12 June 1889
A fencer who initially enlisted in the AIF on 20 July 1915 but was discharged 19 February 1916 after being absent without leave for 15 days.
He enlisted again on 27 May 1916 as James Stevenson and embarked for England on 25 October and arrived on 28 December 1916.
He joined the 19th Battalion in France on 18 April 1917.
He embarked for Australia on 1 July 1919 and arrived on 20 August then was discharged from the AIF on 28 September 1919. [JSB]
