A commercial traveller who enlisted in the AIF on 24 July 1917. He embarked for England on 16 November and arrived on 30 January 1918.
He joined the 10th Field Company Engineers at Vaire-sous-Corbie, France on 19 August 1918. He was evacuated to England on 19 September suffering from acute rheumatism.
He embarked for Australia on 18 January 1919 and arrived on 5 March then was discharged from the AIF on 29 May 1919. [JSB]
