A trained nurse who enlisted in the AIF on 24 November 1914. She embarked for Egypt with the 2nd Australian General Hospital on 28 November 1914.
In September 1915 she was transferred to England where she remained until departing for Australia on 24 June 1916. She arrived on 8 August 1916 and joined the nursing staff at the 4th Australian General Hospital at Randwick.
She embarked for Egypt again on 3 November and arrived on 5 December 1917. She joined the 69th British General Hospital on 1 April 1918 at Beir-al-Balah in Palestine where she remained until she joined the 31st British General Hospital on 30 June 1918 at Abbassia, Egypt.
She embarked for Australia on 29 April 1919 and arrived on 11 June then was discharged from the AIF on 3 August 1919. [JSB]
