An electrician who enlisted in the AIF on 7 February 1917. He embarked for Egypt on 9 May 1917 and arrived on 20 June 1917.
He was allotted to the 67th Squadron, Australian Flying Corps (AFC) and given the rank of Air Mechanic 2nd Class doing firstly aircraft instrument and then aircraft radio repairs. In March 1918 he was transferred to the 1st Squadron, AFC and then attached to AIF Headquarters in Cairo.
He embarked for Australia on 5 March 1919 and arrived on 21 April 1919 and then discharged on 21 May 1919. [JSB]
