A nurse who enlisted in the AIF in August 1916. She embarked for Egypt on 9 December 1916 where she arrived on 10 January 1917. She embarked for England on 16 January 1917 on a hospital ship.
On 11 February 1917 she was posted to the 12th Stationary Hospital in Rouen, France. In July 1917 she was transferred to the British 25th General Hospital. After an extended period of illness between January and March 1918, for which she was evacuated to England, she then joined the 5th Stationary Hospital at Dieppe, France.
In late June 1918 she was transferred to the 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station at Blendecques, France. In February 1919, she again became ill for an extended period, after which in April 1919 she was transferred to the 1st Australian General Hospital in England.
She embarked for Australia on 23 December 1919 and arrived on 10 February 1920. She was discharged from the AIF on 28 March 1920. [JSB]
