An engineer who enlisted in the AIF on 27 December 1917. He embarked for England on 28 February and arrived on 20 April 1918.
He joined the 17th Battalion then in the front line at Villers-Bretonneux, France on 24 July 1918.
He elected to be discharged from the AIF at London, England on 25 June 1919 then returned to Australia in May 1922. [JSB]
