A book keeper who enlisted in the AIF on 17 January 1916. He embarked for England on 2 October as a member of the Australian Army Medical Corps Sea Transport Staff on board HMAT Nestor and arrived on 16 November 1916.
He remained in England until January 1917 when he embarked for Australia. During 1917 he made another two round trips from Australia to England and one in each of 1918 and 1919.
He was discharged from the AIF on 27 June 1919. [JSB]
